PWN Launches its 2011 Communications & Community Organizing Training Series

PWN is launching a nation-wide Communications and Community Organizing Training series! Through skills-building and knowledge sharing, participants will be able to gain communications skills and be able to apply these skills into community organizing campaigns and initiatives. 2011 National HIV Prevention Conference: Abstract deadline extended to February 11, 2011

August 14-17, 2011 in Atlanta, GA
The 2011 National HIV Prevention Conference will bring together more than 3,000 individuals who are working to stop the spread of HIV in the United States. It will provide an opportunity to continue refining, improving, and strengthening our nation’s response to the HIV epidemic.
International AIDS Conference 2012: Program Committee Member Nominations Due December 17th
July 2012, Washington, D.C.
Every two years, the International AIDS Conference is held with a worldwide gathering of people living with HIV, allies, advocates, researchers, providers, and the list goes on. In July 2012, the United States will be hosting its first conference in Washington, D.C. since the HIV travel ban was put in place. The HIV travel ban previously denied anyone who is HIV+ from entering the country. The conference is expected to convene more than 25,000 delegates from nearly 200 countries, including more than 2,500 journalists. Be a part of IAC 2012! Nominate committee members that will work to organize the conference. The deadline for nominations is Friday December 17th.
