House Republicans passed their so-called “One Big, Beautiful Bill Act,” H.R. 1 by one vote last week; but this fight isn't over! The Senate still has to weigh in.
Republicans are trying to steal from poor and working class families to give billionaires and corporations tax cuts. This bill includes the largest Medicaid cuts in U.S. history and slashes nearly $300 billion from SNAP. Vicious anti-trans and anti-abortion attacks are woven into the bill, and it would hand the fascist Trump regime billions to fund their anti-immigrant detention, deportation, and disappearance machine.
