#PWNCares Mutual Aid Fund is open!

We are proud to announce the official launch of the #PWNCares Mutual Aid Fund! Applications are now open to any trans or cis woman, gender diverse or transgender person living with HIV over the age of 18, to receive up to $500 of mutual aid funds for healthcare, housing, or whatever you most need.

As our communities continue to suffer the impacts of fascism through the annihilation of support programs designed to keep us healthy and resourced, and through the doubling down on systems that incarcerate, criminalize, and economically indebt us, we have long realized no one is going to step in to save us. We have to save each other.

The reality is that someone who is stressed about feeding their family will have poorer health outcomes than someone who isn’t. Someone who is worried about keeping a roof over their head is less likely to find time for resistance. And that’s by design. The #PWNCares Mutual Aid Fund is just one way we can ensure solidarity within our movement, safety for our members, and build systems of care that meet our people’s needs. We are here to do more than survive. We are here to live, to love, and to thrive together.

The #PWNCares Fund is finite, and the only way to sustain it and ensure it helps as many people living with HIV as possible, is to give.
