Announcement of Changes in PWN-USA Leadership

PWN-USA is excited to announce two new appointments in our leadership. Please join us is welcoming Evany Turk as our new Co-Executive Director and Grissel Granados as our new Board Chair! They join Co-Executive Director Marnina Miller in empowering our community and securing PWN-USA’s future.

Evany Turk (she/her) is an award-winning public health strategist, public speaker, writer, and community champion. Among her many roles, she is proudest to serve as mother to her children — birth and adopted.

Outside of PWN-USA, Evany is the Founder, President, and Chief Strategist of Heartworks Consulting and serves as the Director of Residential Housing at Chicago House and Social Service Agency.

“PWN has always been a safe space for me to learn, grow, and lead. I’m honored to serve as Co-Executive Director alongside the best community of people: People who love hard, fight smart, and believe in each other’s power. We are not just building leadership—we’re building liberation.“

Grissel Granados (she/her) is a lifetime survivor, HIV advocate, and leading health administrator and the new Board Chair of PWN-USA. She is also the co-director of the documentary about people born with HIV during the 80s and 90s: We’re Still Here. 

Outside of PWN-USA, Grissel serves as Senior Program Development Coordinator at UCI Cancer Center. Previously, she worked with Planned Parenthood LA, the Well Project, and Children’s Hospital LA. She joined the PWN-USA board in 2018.
