Our workgroups meet once per month by conference call on the following days and times (subject to change as needed). They are open to any and all women living with HIV who are interested in learning and getting involved, and are mandatory for affiliated regional chapter officers/reps:

Regional Organizing & Leadership Development (ROLD):  2nd Friday of the month at 4 PM ET/1 PM PT Connect with PWN-USA member leaders from coast to coast. Build your organizing and leadership skills and advocacy capacity through peer-to-peer mentoring. If you’re interested in forming a regional PWN chapter, or in becoming a co-chair of an existing PWN chapter, you must join these calls regularly! To be added to the ROLD workgroup, please contact Waheedah at

Strategic Communications Action Team (SCAT): 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6 PM ET/3 PM PT Are you interested in educating people about issues facing women living with HIV through social media, traditional media, talking with policy makers or face-to-face organizing? You should join our SCAT calls! We discuss timely issues from across the nation, share best practices on how to make a big impact on social media, build our skills in crafting a public message that people can relate to, learn how to contact and interact with media makers, and more! To be added to the SCAT workgroup, please contact Jennie at jsmithcamejo(at)

Policy Workgroup: 4th Wednesday of the month at 6 PM ET/3 PM PT Want to learn more about how public policies and laws affect people living with and affected by HIV, and how you can get involved in making sure those policies help rather than harm? Get training on effective advocacy to make real change! To be added to the Policy workgroup, please contact Rebecca at
