Building on past years of success and responding to the current political moment, SPEAK UP! 2018: A National Leadership Summit for Women will be designed to provide political education, leadership skills, policy advocacy, and voter engagement training to up to 350 women, including women of trans experience, living with HIV.

SPEAK UP! 2018 is open to all women living with HIV, including women of trans experience, over 18 years of age.

The cost of registration for SPEAK UP! 2018 is $250. This includes 3 nights of shared accommodations at the DoubleTree Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort, all meals during the Summit and all training materials. This amount does not reflect the true cost of participation in the Summit: Instead of awarding scholarships to a few people, we do extensive fundraising to make participation affordable to as many women as possible. You can find individual fundraising tools on our website. Registration closes Feb. 28. If you have not registered and paid in full by Feb. 28, you will not be able to attend SPEAK UP! 2018.

Please get complete information on the Summit and contact [email protected] with any questions you may have before making a payment, as all payments are considered donations and cannot be refunded. Payments may be transferrable if being transferred to an eligible woman living with HIV.

If you already put down a $100 down payment to hold your spot and need to complete your payment, please click here.

Please Read Carefully Before Making Registration Payments!

SUMMIT REGISTRATION IS OPEN ONLY TO WOMEN LIVING WITH HIV, INCLUDING WOMEN OF TRANS EXPERIENCE, WITH VERY FEW EXCEPTIONS FOR CONFIRMED GUEST PRESENTERS. IF YOU ARE NOT A WOMAN LIVING WITH HIV, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY REGISTRATION PAYMENTS WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL. PLEASE CONTACT [email protected] OR 510.698.3811 WITH QUESTIONS.

IF YOU WANT TO REGISTER ANOTHER PERSON, ATTENTION:

When completing the registration information below, all information provided should pertain to the person being registered, with the exception of the name and billing address of the owner of the credit card being used. All personal information provided will be kept confidential.

IF YOU WANT TO REGISTER MORE THAN ONE PERSON, ATTENTION:

Please register each person separately, as we need complete information on each participant in order to process their registration. Organizations wishing to sponsor groups of 5 or more women to attend the Summit can do so here.

ABOUT ROOMMATE REQUESTS/LODGING:

The Summit registration includes accommodations in a shared room at the DoubleTree Oceanfront Resort in Myrtle Beach for the nights of 4/12, 4/13 and 4/14. If you are enrolled in a pre-Summit institute (by invitation only), your registration also includes accommodations in a shared room for the night of 4/11. You can request a roommate. Please note that both roommates must request each other, you must be staying the same nights, and you must have the same roommate for your entire time at the DoubleTree Myrtle Beach.

If you do not want to share a room, you will need to book and pay for a private room yourself ($125 per night, plus taxes) by using the group code PWU. Note that whether you book your own room or not, you must pay the Summit registration fee. Whether you are booking your own room or using our rooms, participation in the Summit requires that relevant rooming questions be fully answered. If you leave anything blank, PWN-USA reserves the right to assign you a roommate.
