I’m Samm, PWN’s new Voter Engagement Program Manager. As you know, this election season is critical for our communities and PWN members are throwing down. I’m writing to give you an update on how our midterm campaigns are going. Stay tuned to our social media and for upcoming email updates in these last few weeks!

Positive Women’s Network’s members and allies have been
on fire 🔥in the last few weeks as we launched our midterm get out the vote campaigns in Colorado, Pennsylvania, and Texas! We’re building off work PWN fam have been doing for years to organize community members, advance progressive policies, and fight for human rights!

We kicked off the season in Colorado by having “deep canvass” persuasion conversations, speaking with more than 5,300 voters about reproductive justice, and listening to our community’s interests and concerns in a state that is essentially an abortion oasis.

In Philadelphia, just over the last two weeks, we’ve spoken with thousands of voters at their doors and on the phone about the importance of protecting abortion access and texted nearly 33,000 voters about the fall midterm, encouraging them to apply for mail-in ballots.

We’ve had over 550 conversations with Black voters in North Houston, and collected 57 pledges to protect reproductive freedom in Texas. Our Houston, TX chapter was even featured in the news while tabling at a Constitution Day parade event!

It’s all hands on deck time!!
