Organizing is a long term approach to developing power as a community. It looks beyond policy campaigns, election cycles, and individual leaders to consider how those most impacted by issues can be meaningfully involved, for the long haul, in identifying problems, creating real solutions, and moving us towards the conditions that actually transform our communities.

Join PWN for a 6-part webinar training series on basic grassroots organizing skills, including strategies to build an effective, mobilized base led by Black and brown people, folks of trans experience, low-income communities, and people living with HIV.

The webinar series is open to all.

You should plan to participate in all parts of the series, as they build on each other. Sessions will be recorded, but you will gain the most by participating in real time.

Content will include history of successful organizing campaigns; grassroots organizing basics; developing and engaging new leaders; door-knocking training; building your list and base; and addressing conflict through courageous conversations.

Each 90-minute session will be held on Saturday at 12pm ET/11am CT/10am MT/9am PT on the following dates:

  • June 29th

  • July 13th

  • July 27th

  • August 10th

  • August 24th

  • September 14th
